The crafters are a group of volunteers who come together sharing their time and talent to create crafts from the heart. Using
donated items, they use their imagination to make useful items that people can purchase for themselves, gifts, or home and even create outdoor accesories. All monies raised are used for any repairs needed in the St. Matthew's Parish. If you wish to join them, do not hesitate, you do not have to be an expert in crafting to be part of this very talented group. There are always simple things like cutting, gluing, sewing on buttons, simple painting and more which are all key steps to each project or projects.
If you are interested in discovering your talents, share your ideas or just like to challenge your creativity, join us on Tuesdays from 10:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. If timing is not convenient for you, we do accept monetary donations, items such as cotton/cotton blend material, scissors, hot glu guns, glue, ribbon, wood, completed crafts and we are also looking for someone that can cut wood.
From the Heart: We do work hard but, we also laugh together, support each other and pray together as we share in supporting our wonderful parish of St. Matthew.
If you are interested or have any questions please feel free to call Virginia Diehl@ 713-849-9558
or just simply stop by the craft room (205) any Tuesday.
