Blanca Galvan called the meeting order at 7:11 pm with a prayer.

Pastor’s Report:
The new administrative team, Blanca Galvan, Linda Arfele and Deacon Tom Whited, will divide the duties concerning office procedures. They will each work 10 hours per week. Deacon Tom will be in the office on Monday and Tuesday. Blanca will be in the office on Tuesday and Wednesday. Linda will be in the office on Thursday and Friday.
Father Eugene will be away from the Parrish on Thursdays. He will be attending a training from January through May at St. Luke’s Hospital.
Blanca Galvan and Linda Arfele will resign their positions as voting members of the Parrish Council. Blanca will continue to chair the meetings until a new chairperson gets appointed.

Youth Report:
The students will have a two week break for Thanksgiving and a two week break for Christmas.
The youth mass is going well. They will continue to get students to respond during mass.
Hispanic Concerns:
The mass for the Virgen de Guadalupe went well. Many volunteers showed up to help. $1,521 in donations were collected. During their program they had Mariachis, Matachines and the JV Ballet Folklorico dance group performed.
Their Posadas celebrations were a success. Marcos Guillen headed the activities. The Morton Building was packed every night.
Robert brought to our attention that the speakers in the chapel were not working.
A Christmas concert was held on December 17. La Luz de Cristo, (parishioners from different churches performed. This program was also a success.

Religious Education: Faith Formation
Classes resumed this weekend.
The youth group closets were cleaned out.
Nick Diehl played St. Nick and visited all the classrooms.
January 11 the youth mass will resume.
Board of Education: No report provided.
Old Business:
The security camera system will be ordered with Jim Redd helping with the selection.
Meeting with all ministries and committees will be held January 6, 2015 in the auditorium. Each group should have a 3-5 minute report to share with everyone.
New Business:
Nursery has been closed. The Crafters of the Heart will use the nursery. It will also be used by Sabina as needed. Shelving has been donated and will be installed in the nursery closet.
The Knights and Men’s Club will host Breakfast with Santa this coming year.
The bells are installed and working.
The freezer that was in the Nursery (which couldn’t be repaired) has been removed and sold for $10.
Our next meeting will be February 25, 2015.
