Blanca Galvan called the meeting order at 7:10 pm with a prayer.

Motion was made by Mike Filipiak to approve the minutes for the October meeting and seconded by Virginia Diehl.

Pastor’s Report:
Perla Rangel has been hired to be our new receptionist in the front office.
Jennifer Piotrowski resigned her position as Parrish Administrator. Blanca Galvan and Linda Arfele have taken responsibility for office operations.
Rico Salbosa and Debra Abbs have been selected as new members to our Parrish Council beginning in January 2015.
Eric Genius has confirmed to perform a concert on Feburary 22, 2015 at 3:00 pm. No fees required.
The meeting with all the ministries and committees has been rescheduled for January 6, 2015 in rm. 216.
The roof is still leaking. Doug Schmidt and Ronnie Hoffart have found that the problem with the roof is due to the air conditioning system.
Caitlin Arredondo is interested in doing the liturgy guide for weekend and special masses.
Tom Whited will do the intercessions.
We are looking for someone who can install the smartboard in the auditorium, a projector with two screens on the side walls of the church. These would be used to display the readings and the music during masses.
Maria Covarrubias is interested in the Wedding Coordinator position.
We will have Troy Williams check the amplifier system. Robert Ramirez will check on the bell system.
Administrative Report:
Father Eugene accepted Jennifer Piotrowski’s resignation.
Blanca Galvan and Linda Arfele will temporarily cover office operations. They will reevaluate office procedures.
Finance Committee Report: No report provided.
Youth Report:
The students will have a two week break for Thanksgiving and a two week break for Christmas.
The youth mass is going well. They will continue to get students to respond during mass.
Hispanic Concerns:
There will not be a get together after the Virgen de Guadalupe mass. Arcadio will be decorating for the mass. They will have Mariachis for two hours. They will be asking for donations for this event.
We have ten young ladies registered here at St. Matthew’s for their Quinceañera celebrations.
Linda Hall and Roberto Ramirez are being trained to coordinate the Altar Service Program.

Old Business:
The Parrish census has been tabled until further notice.
New Business:
Money has been donated for the purchase and installation of security cameras.
Father Eugene has contacted Troy to install the church bells.
We will need to check the freezer in the Nursery to see if it can be fixed or if it needs to be thrown away.
Our next meeting will be January 6, 2015.
